Light Up the Night Beach Walk 2023 Raised $100,000 for Our Wellness Program
Presented by Island Heritage, 1,647 joined us for our 13th walk under the stars on Saturday, March 4th from Public Beach, to the Ritz-Carlton and back.
It was the biggest and brightest LUTN walk and we lit up the beach with our reusable glow banners. Thank you to all walkers, sponsors, and volunteers for being part of our record-breaking year.
DART matches LUTN Registrations
DART generously matched 1,200 registrations totalling $30,000 at this year’s Light Up The Night.
Ogier Supports LUTN
We were thrilled to receive the cheque from Ogier to help push our fundraising efforts from our Light Up The Night walk to $100,000. Thank you to the Ogier team for your support and generosity.

Andrew Keast completed the World Marathon Challenge
Andrew Keast has returned from running 7 marathons across 7 continents in 7 days and finished most of the races in second place. From running in adverse cold weather conditions in Antarctica to the Dubai heat, Andrew valiantly finished the races in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation. Andrew has used this global platform to raise awareness of breast cancer in Cayman and aims to raise KYD 30,000 for us. To show your support, please visit his fundraising page.

Bubbles for Boobs High Tea at Union Bar & Grill
Tania and the Union team hosted a wonderful High Team in aid of the Breast Cancer Foundation. The ladies looked fabulous as they enjoyed delicious sandwiches and cakes. We were thrilled to hear so many guests gave generously when purchasing raffle tickets and in the live auction.
Our team also attended and had a fun afternoon sipping on tea and enjoying edible treats.
GuardiansAlive345 Walk/Run
GuardiansAlive345 is hosting a fundraising run/walk this Saturday morning and have a team representing the Breast Cancer Foundation. Help us raise awareness by entering or please let us know if you can volunteer to cheer on the BCF team. It’s free to enter.

Mammogram and ultrasound voucher program
We provide free mammogram and ultrasound vouchers to the community if your medical insurance doesn’t cover the cost. If you have noticed any breast cancer signs and symptoms, or you have family history, please do not delay in getting your mammogram done. Please book an appointment with Pam on 936-1136 or Marina on 938-1135 and please bring your Doctor’s requisition.

The Breast Cancer Foundation brings word-class medical equipment to Cayman
Our Board and team are very pleased that after a generous donation from overseas, to have facilitated the purchase of this PDE machine which has been needed for many years here in Cayman and has already proven to be a huge benefit for many woman and will go onto be a huge benefit for many more living here.
The machine is needed for the microscope to detect necrotic skin during all breast surgeries and mainly for locating the sentinel lymph node and therefore avoiding the unnecessary removal off all or simply way to many lymph nodes, which as we know can lead to a lifetime of issues for the woman.
BCF Tours Health City Cayman Islands’ new Radiation Oncology Centre in Camana Bay
Our board directors and the team enjoyed an insightful tour around Health City Cayman Islands’ new Radiation Oncology Centre in Camana Bay by the oncology team, led by Radiation Oncologist Dr. Vikas Roshan. Thank you.
This is the first step in the opening of their state-of-the-art facility offering our breast cancer patients advanced treatments locally, removing the need for residents to travel overseas.
