Women’s Cancer Rehabilitation is about helping women with a cancer diagnosis get back to living; about listening and helping women to achieve the goals that are most important to them. As a certified Women’s Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist, I offer a range of options to support women affected by cancer, through any stage of cancer treatment or recovery. Our aim is to walk alongside you in your cancer journey, to shift the focus from illness to wellness and optimise physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional recovery. Women’s Oncology Rehabilitation includes comprehensive assessment and treatment during any stage of treatment, recovery, or survivorship.

Intervention options include:

  • Range of movement, strengthening, posture and endurance

  • Sensation changes and peripheral neuropathy
  • Cancer-related fatigue and sleep changes
  • Pain management
  • Chemo-induced cognitive impairment (chemo fog)
  • Coping with changes in role and identity
  • Managing anxiety
  • Easing difficulties in self-care, home management and work
  • Promoting independence at home, work, life, and meaningful activities
