Dr. Dr Vineetha Binoy MBBS,MD,DM (Medical Oncology)
Dr. Vineetha Binoy completed her MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from the reputed Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) at Pondicherry, India. She then joined the Department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia as an Advanced Trainee Registrar in 2005. Following this, she worked as a Clinical Assistant at the Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit at Narayana Health City, Bangalore before pursuing her advanced training in Medical Oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. On completion of her training, she joined the Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Centre at Narayana Health City as a Consultant in Medical Oncology. Dr Vineetha has been certified by the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) in 2012 for excellence in Medical Oncology. From 2014 she has been rendering her services at Health City Cayman Islands as Consultant Medical Oncologist.
In her career spanning 15 years, she has treated cancers of a variety of types in a multidisciplinary setting. Her special interests include women’s oncology, integrative oncology, hemato- oncology and stem cell transplantation. She believes in comprehensive cancer care and has been certified by the Indian Association of Palliative Care Physicians (IAP) in Palliative Medicine and is also a board member of Jasmine, Cayman’s hospice care and palliative services, from May 2018.
