Light Up The Night 2025: A Record-Breaking Wave of Pink
In 2025, the annual Light Up The Night walk hosted by the Breast Cancer Foundation once again lit up the shores of Seven Mile Beach with colour, community, and heart. What began as a small fundraiser in 2011 has grown into one of the Cayman Islands’ most touching and impactful community events.
A Night of Support and Solidarity
On March 1, 2025, hundreds of walkers, many in glowing lights, pink outfits, and neon accessories, came together along the iconic shoreline to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer support. The moonlit scene transformed Seven Mile Beach into a vibrant ribbon of pink, symbolising unity, strength, and hope.
The 2025 walk saw a record turnout, with over 1,800 participants joining the cause, making it one of the largest Light Up The Night events yet. Funds raised on the night broke previous records and will go directly towards patient support, education, and advocacy services offered by the Foundation.
This impactful celebration of strength and community spirit was made possible by the generous support of headline sponsor Island Heritage, along with many other community partners who help make the night truly shine.
More Than Just A Walk
Light Up The Night has become much more than a beach stroll, it’s a powerful annual reminder of what can be achieved when people come together with love, courage, and determination.
