With the fourth annual Breast Cancer Gala Dinner in a few days, excitement is rising as the list of live and silent auction items continue to grow.
As in previous years, all proceeds of the upcoming Breast Cancer Gala Dinner and its auctions will be donated in the form of grants to patients assistance and other breast cancer related projects by The Cayman Islands Cancer Society and The Lions Club of Tropical Gardens. Funds from years past have helped fuel strategic local initiatives such as the local cancer registry, financial aid for breast cancer patients, early detection and breast cancer awareness initiatives.
This years generosity towards the auction has been immeasurable with over 50 items including; Jewelry, boat charters, resort stays, watersports vouchers, makeover packages, private shopping experiences, artwork, spa visits and restaurant certificates.
The live auction will feature a list of extravagant and coveted luxuries such as; a photo shoot by Melissa Wolfe, Blackbeard’s wine tasting, dinner party for six at your home by Mise En Place, a Cartier diamond necklace, a Christmas performance by The Singrays, a Philip Stein watch donated by Island Companies, a shopping experience at Sand Angels, a private yacht charter by Cayman Luxury Charter and a Spa Package from Silver Rain Spa and more.
The Gala will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, on Saturday October 15th, 2011. The Breast Cancer Foundation hosts the fundraiser, with platinum sponsors Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital, HSBC, Maples and RE/MAX Cayman Islands.
