The Breast Cancer Foundation was proud to host Kick Breast Cancer into Touch, a special breakfast event held in partnership with the Cayman Women’s Rugby Team. The event brought together the worlds of sport and strength in support of breast cancer warriors in the Cayman Islands.
The guest speaker was Raquel Kochhann, an inspiring breast cancer survivor and icon of international rugby. Raquel, a celebrated Brazilian athlete, had represented her country in two Olympic Games and multiple World Rugby Sevens Series. She was also known for her fierce leadership and incredible determination both on and off the field. During the event, she shared her journey of recovery and triumph in life after cancer—a story that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
The headline sponsors for this event were Pool Patrol and 81 West Botanic Emporium who also generously donated one table to Breast Cancer Survivors to attend the breakfast.
