BCF Screening Program

For the last decade, the Foundation has been funding free mammograms and ultrasounds for those who need them, as awareness has increased, more women (and some men) are coming forward to take advantage of this free screening program, most insurance cover, this is part of the ‘Wellness Cover’ is so low that it does not cover the full cost, this is where we step in. In 2022 due to demand, we expect our Screening Program to double in cost.

BCF Awareness Program

We run a full-on Awareness Program, we bring our team presentation, either in the form of an information table or as a video presentation with Q&A to any Community or Business and any size audience 2- 2000 getting the message out there “Early Detection Saves Lives” is what is important. We are also available to attend schools and colleges. Age is not a barrier to being diagnosed with breast cancer, the majority of our 350 registered patients and survivors are under 50, 20 years of age being the youngest person BCF has assisted after a breast cancer diagnosis. Self-examination is vital for all but especially those under 40 who are not getting a regular screening.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

We are here for you all year!

As we enter Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are thrilled many companies and individuals in the Cayman Community will be fundraising for us and raising awareness. We want to share a video showing how the foundation provides support to breast cancer patients in Cayman.

Thank You

Collas Crill

We are very grateful for you, our wonderful supporters. We couldn’t do what we do without you!

We currently have over 300 registered on our Wellness Program and our year-round screening program budget for mammogram and ultrasound vouchers has doubled.

The money raised is vital to provide support, services and advocacy to breast cancer patients and their families in Cayman, and mammograms and ultrasounds to those in need in the community.
